michael
OK... Kris Angel vs David Blaine... who wins the douche war? Paul Daniels could wizard them both with one hand tied behind his tiny back.
supra_aero
He did a magic trick to me in a high street in London (upper st. for those who know it) and I was on tv with it! V.impressive by magic standards so I respect him for that (no camera tricks when he did one on me). Not sure about the other stuff he does

supra_aero
Did he steal your knickers? No he guessed a card I was thinking of and pulled it out of the deck. But thanks for asking How he did that was incredible given I was trying to think of many cards to fool him

ivan
I thought the comment from one of the guys on breakfast TV was interesting. He was saying that when Blaine did that clear box thing, he was standing next to some Americans and they were all "Oh, he's so amazing". Walk 100 yards on and you get to the English people and they're all "f***ing tw*t". Perhaps it's a culture thing. It is. The difference can clearly be seen at Disney World: Brit: "Hey kids, look at the man dressed up as Mickey Mouse." American: "Hey look, it's a talking mouse!" supra_aero
....and you were only the 52nd person he'd tried it on that day.... haha, possibly. Though to be fair there was a huge crowd and tv crews around. If he got it wrong it would make him look very very bad.
Scott
haha, possibly. Though to be fair there was a huge crowd and tv crews around. If he got it wrong it would make him look very very bad. He used a deck called "the invisible deck". He didn't pull out a card you were thinking of, he asked you the card you were thinking of and used the special deck to find it. I was a "magician" for a few years

I was a "magician" for a few years Now you've revealed to the public at large how it was done. You should be outed from the magic circle immediately Next you'll be telling us he stands on one foot @ 45 degrees away from the crowd whilst "levitating" It's a disgrace. Thanks for that, has somewhat tarnished the experience abit as I was baffled for many years until you posted that. Though I am happy you told me as now I finally know how he did it. Thanks man. All hail Scotster the supra magician!
Gerry
I'm not usually a mean person (I don't think so anyway) but when I heard of his latest stunt i had a secret hope that after a few hours his eyeballs would pop out and dangle on their stalks like two yo-yo's voted

Gerry
I take it you voted idiot Yes... But on the other hand, if he could do what I hoped for, on live TV, and then pop them back in and read the bible, I might change my mind
Lbm
Not on the TV he doesn't. He is lifted by a crane in front of a fake audience. Actually- he does both. He performs his Balducci levitation, then they do the crane hoist thing. And cut the best footage reactions together.

Rob
I saw the "trapped in Ice" trick on that masked magician thing, I presume Blaine was just reworking that illusion.
