Hi i ve brought some hid's hb3 9005 4300k ones for driving beam and i now know where i am going to hide the ballasts under the headlights but how do you install them exactly is it just a matter of plugging them in and turning on your lights and there done. I ve tried to search for a thread about installing hid's but cant find anything showing you through it step by step, so if someone wouldnt mine talking me through the process please step by step that would be wicked thank you

They are plug and play bud. I've had a couple of problems with them not lighting, but the larger plugs on the loom supplied can be turned around. Reverse polarity. This does not damage anything.

As long as you do not touch the lamps themselves there won't be a problem.

No need to touch fuses, HID's are said to draw less power than standard bulbs. You will need a relay kit if you go for HID mains.

i got hid's for normal driving beam so i need a relay kit for them to work, where do i get one of thos from and whats it for how do you wire that up

No mate only for main / high beam. Normal dipped should not require the harness. Fuses are 15A standard. Plenty for the HID.

If the lamps or lone of the lamps doesn't light, take the plug out of the ballast and turn it 180 degrees. Or if it's easier turn the plug through 180 on the lamp itself. It's the larger plug not the smaller ones. :)

R i get what you mean now, the plugs thats connect together not the wires coming out of the ballasts, Cheers guys all done now and working. Hid the ballast under the headlights in the front bumper and the little tip about loosen the three screws on the back of the headlight where the bulb goes in was a good tip the blubs where well hard to get in. Thanks again i dont know what i would do without you guys cheers, just got to wait till it gets dark now to get the full affect cant wait :D

From the lamps he's holding in the pics, they are close. Some, if not most, lamp holders need one of the tabs trimming so it will engage in the socket.

If you look straight down at the lamp, lamp pointing at you, it's the lower right tab that is usually too large to fit. Needs reducing by about half. Compare it to the standard lamp.

HTH :)
