SUPRALOOPY
Bump. Anyone in the essex area fancy giving me some training? I've done a year with this program and it still twists my melon? I have given my end of year to the accountant and he says its ok but I need some help with sage. I am not being raped again so if there is anyone in the area that could help I'd be very happy. I do not understand the lingo so will need it in (you are a fuckwit terms) I'll fix/rebuild your car but I don't do sage!!!!!!!! Thanks Dave. supspower
To be fair we dont advise people to use sage unless they go on proper training courses (which are bloody expensive) or hire someone who knows the system as its not the easiest to grasp. Sage is useless to an accountant when the client doesnt know how to use it, wastes their hard earned spare time entering data as when we get the backup file we have to do it from scratch anyway cause whats on sage is pants! Well it seems you know the basics of it as your accountant said its ok. If you like you can pm exactly what u wanna know and i can advise as much as i can. Gruggs
Yeah as said its only as good as the training people have had. I've had back ups in to start their year end accounts and after 10 mins have gone back going "this is a pile of poo" give me your bank statements and let me go from there. I have other audit clients who operate it brilliantly and know how it all works. It really depends on your experience and desire to keep chipping away at it. Quick books is a good system, sounds more like the accountant doesnt know how to use that one. Sage is expense once you build in cover etc, there are a lot cheaper options available if you are operating at a small/medium size. I've actually just set up an online accounting package for my clients to use. http://www.beancounteronline.co.uk No plugs here then!
