123tom123tom
I have been having a few problems with my EMB and i am trying to eliminate certain problems. I have just been looking into the jumper settings and slightly confused. In the thread below Ian C who i know is like god when it comes to these EMB has confused me with his answers in regards to what the jumper settings should be. He mentions that Jump4 should be 2-3 but there is only two pins. Can anybody confirm definatley the jumper settings, i have looked at the thread below and the diagram attached. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=26490&highlight=jumper+settings cheers tom:)

Soonto_HAS_soop
Ian probably means to leave that jumper open, PM him, he's not normally that long to get back to you.

Tricky-Ricky
AFAIK the blue switch settings are 740 and the jumpers are 1=1-2 2=2-3 3=1-2 4=2-3 5 and 6 off (open) 7=1-
Ian C
Jumper 4 is set to 2-3 for the twin airflow system of the Skyline. You set it to 2-3 so you read the 2nd airflow line but you wire it up to a wideband and then you can datalog it. Setting it to 1-2 is for VTEC applications. I can't remember the EMB board but check very carefully what the jumper numbers are on the PCB itself, I think the manual got one of them the wrong way round. I'm pretty sure that JP4 should be three pins. Either that or the pins that exist are labelled 2 and 3 and 1 is blanked off on the board. Failing that, I'd say join them And JP2 should deffo be 2-3, as I found out since that post. -Ian

rob wild
Sorry if I'm wrong here Tom when i set one up and as as Ian said above I would leave it off jumper because jumped i.e. 1-2 is used from memory as some sort of VTM signal i.e. because the VTM output is inverted. Again i remember reading that in one of my installation guides some where. If i can find it i'll scan it in and post it for you, if gives a much better explanation than i've given LOL
