madmunky
Anyone know if these are ment to clear large brakes as I've just tried to fit my 8pot D2's and they are hitting the wheel (18" Wheels) Not sure if I have installed them wrong of if they just wont work with these wheels Would spacers help? uk-rich
spacers might, but its not the best idea, haveyou got any pics ?
madmunky
What kind of pictures do you want and ill take some. I think if I put on spacers then there wouldnt be enough thread left to fit the wheel on. Not impressed
uk-rich
pics are always good so its hitting the back of the spokes then, how much would need to make them clear
madmunky
only around 1cm, would spacers work then?
uk-rich
i'd say thats a big "only", you would need some hubcentric wheel spacers for that

madmunky
Ordered a set of 15mm spacers from Envy so should be delivered tomorrow and I can finish of the brakes. Heres a picture of when I put the wheel on. Oh other problem is I cant get the orginal brake lines off to replace them with my new ones, is there any trick to doing this? uk-rich
there are 2 locking plates on each brake line (like cerclips sp), at the top where the brake pipe joins them
Nick
There's two offsets for the Supra on the Z1, and the correct offset cleared my 4-pot Brembo's fine.
madmunky
Whats the offset you have, Ill have to check mine tonight.
Pabs
Got the Technospeed Z1's on my supra, but in 19" form. Got front UK brakes on with no spacers - all fine. Rears have spacers though, but I think it is purely to bring the wheels out to fill the veilside overfenders
