Aeroquip / Goodridge hose fittings.

I am taking a trip to an F1 outfit next week, I usually get a nose around the stores, and I know they have cleared out a whole rook of Aeroquip and Goodridge hose fittings, from dash 3 to dash 20 size, with, I believe, some shorter oddments of hose, too. If anyone has SPECIFIC demands, and KNOWS what they need (as in, "Iam looking for 6 off -10 JIC 90 degree forged elbows, or three -3 bullkhead fittings"), let me have a list by e-mail ASAP. I can then see what is available. I can't answer things like "What fitting do I need to connect the sprocket flap valve to a Dyson", sorry. You need to get an on line catalogue and be specific. These part clear outs are usually at very handy money though. They'll have some high end rod ends and spherical bearings, too, if anyone has specific requirements.

Clear, concise and in English, you are a star. Printed to take with me.

I was looking at some centre lock hub adaptors at a place I visit. They were not suitable for a MKIV, but they COULD be made in a form that is. Then you could use proper single nut centre lock magnesium rims, which are dirt cheap to buy, and you would have a unique, rather flash set up. You'd have to sign a disclaimer that they were for show use only, as they may be somewhat suspect on a road car, i don't know if any regs cover this. I thought of you (a man with a lot of dosh and a desire for something different :))

Corrrrrrrr bargain and all, Finding some with the right offsets might be tricky though? scare me with what sort of money id be looking at to buy nd have the center lock hubs fitted.

You could buy rims and have adaptors made that would correct any reasonable offset problems. Some of these rims come up for sale in large quantities. Mag rims like the example I posted are about 950 quid or more EACH new. I would need to speak with a few people, but about 1800 a set for adaptors at a guess, if we made say 3 sets. Don't hold me to the price, it's pure speculation at the moment. But how cool would proper centre locks be, though?

Very cool, but not sure i could justify that when so many other things i want to do, also you would hate me for putting 19's on it:D (i know it would not handle as good but aggressive looks play a big part for me)

I need to talk with you when i get a min about a new engine id like you to build for me and what parts i need to source, ill try to give you a ring next week:)
