To show I am not just knocking CP, Wiseco appear "cheap and nasty" compared to something better still, and the Mahle ones would appear boat anchor'ish compared to Omega ones.

No, it's not a problem, I don't think freedom of opinion is banned yet, quite I do think people should take opinions given in private some privacy though, it's like being at a dinner party, opining some bint is a fat slapper, and then having your confidante announce to the room at large "Oi, Chris thinks she's a fat slapper in the red dress". In this instance they are fat slappers though.

I didnt really think it would be such an issue seeing as were talking about a product made by some American company. I would understand if it was someone on here that made then.

So I dont build engines? I have no experience with Wiseco pistons so cant comment on those. CP are recognised as being one of the best around at a good price, why use anything else?

As good, or in some cases, better. Omega are very flexible in what they can do. I'd hazard a guess a lot of the F1 grid use Omega pistons. They cast their own rings too, which is specialised and needs a huge investment.

I have never used Accralite, but they are well known and respected. I doubt they'd list a 2JZ-* piston though.

On the contrary, if someone has a bad word to say about a product then personally i'd like to hear there views.

 

If someone thinks something is naff then they should say as long as they can back it up. Might save overs some hassle
