Guest heleX
Hello all, im from the usa, pennsylvania to be exact. I have owned a supra for almost a year now. I stumbled along looking for help with the abflug widebody. Surprisingly i have found this site more helpful than supraforums.com in several areas mainly because I have a JDM supra, so everything is jspec and of course RHD, which is very rare in the USA. I have spent the past 8 months fighting/battling/dealing with the US dept of motor vehicles trying to get this thing registered and legit, seeing how VIN's are different and such. Finally got everything cleared up. Looking forward to help out in threads where i can, as well as get some help for resolving problems . here are a few videos of my supra: http://www.youtube.com/user/helex09

Dazzi
I have too find out soon why the States are so strict on RHD cars. Plenty of LHD cars from the States come over here no problem. I can count '100' easy in Menwith Hill. Nice car btw, no better feeling than a Jap Supra

Nice car btw, no better feeling than a Jap Supra Thats because the paper pushing desk job people are lazy, and their computers will not accept my 12 digit VIN (17 is normal), so they are required to do it the old fashioned way, regular paper. I was rejected five times before i got a personal letter and a special form filled out by the state police authorizing my car for road use. Dazzi
lol know how you feel. When I came to insure my car with USAA they were like 'we need your 17 digit vin number' which obviously I didn't have being an import. My insurance then rocketed by $600 but got them down in the end.
