Guest TrackScotland
Mark - If you're on here A word of advice for next time.... please move over for faster cars. You may be as fast on the straights but we had a few grumbles about being held up behind the supra. Nothing serious, but if nothing is said nothing will be done Here are some vids.... The supra is in the 1st vid.... you actually undertook someone on the wrong side here too :/ but from the vid you can see the bloody clio wasnt moving for you either hehe! http://www.trackscotland.co.uk/vid/TS011108Fee.wmv http://www.trackscotland.co.uk/vid/TS011108Fee_2.wmv Edited November 3, 2008 by TrackScotland (see edit history)

You may be as fast on the straights but we had a few grumbles about being held up behind the supra. Nothing serious, but if nothing is said nothing will be done Maybe a PM would be more appropriate for advice for individuals instead of broadcasting the fact that they have no track discipline. lol Will make it to one of these one day! Guest TrackScotland
Maybe, but it's better to be seen doing something about it for everyones sake We have nothing to hide, and it wasnt meant to be rude etc.... just factual, and I hope helpful. Things tend to be brought up after events when nothing can be done. If someone had just had a quick word with the supra driver at the event rather than saying to us afterwards it wouldnt have been a problem. I wasnt there on the day by the way. Guest Mark Syme.
Adam, Please pass on my apologies to anyone who was "grumbling" I wish they had let me know at the time, I don't bite!! By the way you can see in the video above that I pulled over at least twice to let others past in that session so don't really know what they are on about, but hey-ho!! Surely people have to accept that there is going to be a broad range of machinery and ability at these events and everyone is trying to get the best out of their cars and themselves and above all have fun! Incidentally I really enjoyed the day despite the many red lights due to some "over-commited driving" by some, particularly a few small hatchbacks, but I'm not one to grumble!! p.s. I hope I'll be welcome at the next one. p.p.s. Cheers to kslb and SUP R G for your comments. Mark.
Pig
completely agree Me 2. Out of order IMO
kslb
Maybe, but it's better to be seen doing something about it for everyones sake Adam How about a pm to any individuals and a post something along the lines of: "At the last track event we had a complaint about some peoples track discipline. The individuals have been contacted and although it did not detract from the enjoyment of the day could all attending the next event please remember to let faster cars past and remember to pass on the correct side. Thanks and look forward to seeing you all soon." Just an idea!
Guest TrackScotland
Mark - No problem, your more than welcome back. It can be quite awkward on track when there is such a spread of cars and talent as you said. In the vid you can see the Clio causing a few problems, and he was another that there were grumbles about. Most of the comments were about the fiesta ST's and the purple hatch.... Please take your worries to a marshal and they can then deal with problem drivers there and then. We'd rather the majority was happy, over 1 nutter. We have made efforts to ensure the purple corsa wont be booking on again. Others - Fair enough, but I dont see how your now helping the matter :| Pig - How did you end up in here.... your from Essex LOL
supratoy
The supra looked like it was doing good. looked pretty busy but hopefully make it to a few of these next year
Guest TrackScotland
Mark - I meant to ask... How much power is your Supra running? Our skyline (the one my girlfriend is driving in the vids above) is just shy of 400bhp, but i'd imagine it being a little lighter than a full road trim Supra. I used to have a 480bhp MK IV, and the Skyline feels just a bout the same on the straight. So I'd hazzard a guess at 450bhp or so ?!
Guest Mark Syme.
Hi Adam, Thanks for the reply, no hard feelings! The old Supe dynoed at 473 bhp last year which seems a little high considering it's only on hybrids running at 1.2 bar with a few other supporting bits and bobs, but it seems to go well enough...on the straight bits anyway!!
