Suprash
I am a man of zero power I'm afraid. I'm a contractor as well. RBS have just imposed a 10% rate cut on all contract staff which isn't great. But there's a hell of a lot of work on at the moment due to the integration with ABN Amro. I can recommend my Agency though. They've been pretty good and take you out for lunch alot. (752 Solutions) I went for an interview about 8 weeks at RBS, didnt get it, which Im glad about now seeing as they have just cut contractor rates. Im now at Barclays and things are manic here now, we have around 30 servers a day being installed into the DC for taking over what was left of Lehmans after Barclays scooped it up.....I used to work for Lehmans as well, so its sheer luck Im currently contracted to the right company that hasnt cut rates or gone belly up
Suprash
Contractors run the company. It's the permies who are the hangers on and need clearing out. IMHO Come and work for RBS up at Islington. Same pay as in the City but better food. You working for RBS dude, what as ?
