Firefox querie re. autofill

I have been using Firefox for ages and have always had the autofill button available but it seems to have mysteriously disappeared.

 

Any ideas of what I need to do to restore it?

First, the AutoFill button may not be enabled. To enable AutoFill for the Toolbar for Firefox, please follow these steps:

 

Click the Settings button on the right side of your Google Toolbar.

Select Options from the drop-down menu. The Options dialog box appears.

Check the box next to AutoFill.

Click OK to save your changes.

The AutoFill button is now enabled in your Toolbar.

 

Second, your Toolbar may not have enough space to show all of its buttons. If this is the case, you'll see a chevron (">>") drop-down button at the far right side of your Toolbar. You can resolve this issue by modifying the labels on your Toolbar buttons or by moving your Toolbar down to its own line. To modify your Toolbar button labels, follow these steps:

Select Options from the drop-down menu. The Options dialog box appears.

Click the More tab.

Under Button text labels, choose Selective text only or No icons.

Click OK to save your changes.

Yes, always but I seem to have missed it this time. Can you please point me to the original thread?

 

BTW, the problem was due to Firefox not showing / deleting the Google tool bar completely. A quick re-install now rectified the problem.

Ah how stupid of me to have thought that you were referring to the search facility on this forum. I should have realised by the excellent grammar and concise use of English in your post that it was a copy and paste from another web site.

For what exactly? Your copy and paste instructions did not address the problem and therefore didn't fix it. Or would you like me to thank you for the initial sarcastic comment?

maybe you didnt know how to follow the instructions:search:, iv got firefox and its very easy to use, following simple instructions can resolve re-installing
