Gazboy
What model have you gone for Jazz? You may want to join http://www.rennlist.com/ which is a hugely helpful site for 911 owners, it's an international site dominated by the Americans though so for the lighter stuff join this lot http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/forum.asp?h=0&f=48 but currently they seem to be pre-occupied with the credit crunch to talk about anything else. Guest sunnyG83
Jazz mate well done on the new purchase firstly. Secondly how did you manage to insure the 911 on your name as i thought you were the guy who is only allowed to drive your Supra 2000-3000 miles a year and you drove a nissan micra the rest of the time?. I thought you were still 21ish with 3 points and living in london. Not saying you dont own one but just asking what are you looking at for insurance. Daston
Insurance is probably less than a supra to be honest. I was quoted £550 fully comp on a 964 and the reason was they dont get written off or have as many claims. Plus it would have been unmodified and a UK car

I was quoted £1300 on a 996 C2, UK car, standard, vs £450 for my j-spec TT. Both garaged, alarmed and 5kpa.
DaveK
That 964 policy was probably classic. On 5k miles a year, mine cost me £232 this year.
jazz1
firstly i can get insured to drive any car as me, dad and brother pay 4.5k for trade indurance. I will get some pics up when i get it, right now im so tired spent 10 hours changing my disks, pads and polishing the whole car. As for how i bought this car, well you have to work seven days a week, anyone can afford anything it all depends on how lazy you are as a person. Me well i work very hard:)

Although the tuscan is £200 less than the supra was and is due to go down by half when I am
