iv been thinking towards one of these for a while maybe sell my supra and do this up, what are your thoughts on this, viewing one tommorow some guys selling

look fairly boring to me.

i do like the 911Turbos though or a GT2 or the normal 911 with a GT2 or Turbo Kit.

Standard C2 and C4 are extremely boring to look at.

Interior wise they are very german.............hence boring :)

All in my opinion obviously ;)

That one is a facelift 996 I believe, so it has the better lights. Unfortunatly it looks as though its just a carrera. If I were you I'd wait for a 4s with the sport body styling, same as bumpers as turbo and skirts etc, just missing the vents in the rear arches. Also the 4s has 4 wheel drive and I believe should be about BPU performance in a straight line (waits to be corrected) so it indeed is a very nice car in my opinion

i aint buying that one in the picture but its similar, ones my dads mates selling, il see how it goes but if i do buy one i will put a nice kit on it:)

According to Stevieboy on here who works for Porsche. If you are buying a standard Carrera 2 or 4 then you may need big pockets.......:(

He reckons the Turbo or the GT3 are the more reliable options!!

personally i prefer the old school 911 turbo, u know the one from bad boys1. would choose one of them over any ferrari or lambo....

yea my dads mate who sells cars had the perfect red on wide body, 30k on the clock was original. My dad wanted that but offered him 19k he sold it for 23k in the end

Porsches don't really do anything for me, but it's like everything else.........no matter how nice the kit is you put on it, it's never gonna be a Turbo or a GT3, and that will always be at the back of your mind.

A bit like folks who buy middle of the road beamers and spend thousands trying to make it look something it's not - an M3.

I agree if your going to go for something like that you're going to want to go for the top model otherwise your going to be quite disapointed with the performance.

Lol. When you order this kit, can you video the conversation of your face and have it on speakerphone so we can see your jaw hit the desk when you're told it's £8000 plus vat and shipping.

Performance - hmm.....we all go on about running 400-500+ cars but reality suggests that if you want to keep hold of your license and not end up in a trench somewhere then a C2 or C4 pushing 300 - 350bhp should be plenty from a performance perspective.

take mine for example, its pushing 550bhp at the moment, amazing power and acceleration - how many places are safe enough for me to exploit this performance legally - answer - very few........
