Solid Snake
Recently my battery was starting to go dead when sitting for a week. I sussed out that the DVD player flashing alarm warning light was the culprit so I disabled it. This week it would die overnight. It was a new battery last year and have only done about 3k miles so felt the battery was good. Am thinking has the alternator gone but the battery was showing 11-12 volts on the testmeter so I checked the cells. Yep, they were pretty dry and after a top-up, the car`s been starting fine again. Oh and I used tapwater as well I thought batteries were meant to be maintenance free these days but anyway, a wee hint to anyone who has a dud battery. Before buying a new one, check and make sure the cells have water in them. Could save you a lot of money
