michael
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1020530/ Possible "horror" that hits home rather than than being distant enough to remain fiction? I'm put off by the mention of a dog being killed (kill all the humans, just leave the animals alone please) but I'm also drawn by the concept and how close to reality it could be in the UK these days. I think it comes out today but has anyone seen an early screening? Reviews seem favourable but don't dish out the stars. Z1QaFtd55MI
ellis
Just heard a review on the radio that didn't really rate it - Chav Chiller or Hoodie Horror they called it! Mind you, I ain't seen nowt so will withold own thoughts!
michael
Is the embedded clip working? Doesn't seem to be for me but the link underneath launches OK.
keener
Embedded clip worked fine. Looks like a reasonable 'switch off brain' horror but then trailers always look like that to me!

Might be a problem here, just noticed the same on another site.

Most people I know, including myself, tend to think the opposite of him:D
Rob
Agreed. The Fly 2, I am Legend, Hollow Man... nasty. I am Legend was particularly bad, as I'd put my own dog down the weekend before.
RedM
I've seen it and it's fairly believable until the old thriller/horror cliche of the couple doing something daft that you just wouldn't do in real-life. From then on it just gets silly. One to avoid TBH although, as Michael says, it's almost believable from the news reports of hoody culture. Chris-B
Went to see this film last night and although I didn’t enjoy it in the slightest, I do think it’s a powerful film which accurately portrays the young culture problem we have in this country. Don’t want to give away any details away but some scenes actually made me feel sick, I actually left the cinema feeling angry and annoyed. I’m assuming the film had a relatively low budget and in some scenes this showed, but overall I think the director did a good job and tackled a difficult issue. I’m just waiting for the media to use the film as excuse for behaviour of similar youths
