patrik
since you know have guessed that im not soo on parts and stuff, will the cracks in the hoses decrease performance in anyway if left too their on life so to speak:d could be that the previous owner had a bov i guess and just jammed the original back when selling. bolarbag
It depends on which pipe is cracked, if their all cracked you will have a boost leak yes, the pipes are about 5quid 2nd hand, or about a 5er each brand new A temp fix would be duct tape around the cracked areas
patrik
ok soo the case is this= all the pipes are cracked and there is 3 leading to the little bov. problem for me is that the toyota workshop could not find them on their computer soo where can i find partnr or some trader on here that can supply them (would prefer new since its not expensive). wonder how much better the car will go
cwtt
You should definitely go ahead and replace all those rubber hoses. Infact if those hoses are cracked, then I gurantee that other hoses are even worse and it will definitely effect the performance of your car. I would replace all the rubber hoses if I were you. little num
i replaced all my rubber hose's from 3m right upto 8m with silicone blue one's reason being they look better and the old vacume pipe's were getting nasty, i also replaced all me boost pipe's from cooler into the manifold, all these were purchased from EBAYand i think for all the pipes and posted to uk was about £200. well worth doing it as i noticed 2 of my small vacume pipe's were split. Jake
TWO HUNDRED QUID???? For crappy silicon rubbish? You should have saved your money and fitted some proper rubber ones, ones that are up to the job.
