raviahluwalia
Any ideas on how to the procedure to clean a HKS Power Flow (mushroom) air filter? I read somewhere you need to relubricate them with special oil and you can put them in the washing machine!!???
Thorin
I wondered the same thing, but the fact is you just don't bother. The filter element is cheap and is meant to be disposable. Just buy a replacement filter element, should be less than £20.
raviahluwalia
ok, so i presume you take off the whole unit and the green element behind is removed and changed? Sounds easier than i thought. thanks.
Thorin
Un-do the screw in the center of the mushroom bit and the wire mesh part comes off with the green element.
