supra_aero
I retract my previous statements about its ugliness. It does look good in white, and white only imo.

Nic
White is probably the most popular colour here, my friend has just bought a white GTR. I personally like them in silver.
toyotasupra1980
It is a nice car but to be honest i would rather have the R34 GTR.
Thorin
Really don't like the wheels, and I'd prefer it in another colour.

Rob Dublin
Their import rules are even more restrictive than ours. Yours... That said they've just lumped cars like the Supe into the new higher road tax bracket if they've just been brought in so it's €2k a year just to tax it (1300 if it's registered before July this year) Hijack over! tbourner
I'd have it in white. Similarly the only colour for a Type-R is white, shame they don't sell the CTR in white over here.

SupraAyf
I quite like that - it certainly didn't take them long to change a few things. This months edition of Jap Performance is quite interesting as it speculates about the V-Spec edition. They say there is going to be an Evolution version first and then the V-Spec will come on the scene with 100Kg weight reduction and 48/50BHP more. The speculative price range is circa 75 to 100K:blink: You can already get a 650BHP package for the new car so I'm not sure people will want to pay all that extra for the Evo or V-Spec? The article also states that UK Import Traders are likely to bring them in large numbers as there are a fair few 2nd-hand ones to be had already at much reduced prices than the UK's 52K asking price. So far, all traders have been scared about importing the cars due to possible legal action by Nissan but 2nd-hand ones don't seem to be a problem:)

Nic
The trick gear box is going to be a limiting factor power wise apparently. Another limiting factor will be the turbos, I was watching one that was having new turbo actuators fitted the other day, the 2 small turbos (similar in size to the stock TT turbos) are buried low down behind the engine, it's all very tightly packaged so bigger turbos are not going to be easy to install. Below is a poor quality phone pic I got. http://img353.imageshack.us/img353/8196/dsc00016gs5.jpg

The turbo issue may be tricky one though
Thorin
I guess remote mounting the turbos would be one option.
supra_aero
why are they so heavily against modifying it? It does not detract from its already startling performance and it is way too expensive to attract the 'barry boy' clientelle.
johnny g
Or seeing if it can be made such that it's easier to mount a bigger single in lieu of the 2 sets of pipes work for the twins? Who knows ...
bigbloodyturbo
I cant get over how ugly that car is, i know they modelled it on cartoon robots (which is cool) but god they're ugly. The front looks like some kind of celica/evo hybrid and its arse sticks up in the air like a cat taking a p1ss. The old R34 was hard to beat as far as looks go. Saying that, forgetting its looks it probably goes swiftly enough i would imagine
