We are having a few days off in the UK, but can't decide what to do.

We are going to Alton Towers for a day but don't want to

a) spend a fortune

b) spend it shopping

c) do anything car related

Does anybody have any ideas?

1. How far are you willing to travel?

2. Who is going?

3. Are you bothered if it rains?

4. What sort of things do you like doing?

Not bothered to 1 and 3.

Only the two of us.

Up for anything different- want something planned or you just end up around the house doing nothing.

I can assist with this. What's even more expensive than a girly week-end in London??? Hitting the shops after a couple of bottles of cheekly rose on the train on the way down:p:D:p:D You know it makes sense;)
