Dear Nissan,

Firstly may i take this opportunity to congratulate you on the production of the new GTR,

It looks to be a truely stunning car in both design and performance. And may i further

thank you for selling it to the UK market in sufficiant numbers unlike the previous skyline

models which you kept hidden away. However this is not my reason for writing to you.

I am currently a month into a 3 month stay in the USA. While here i have done quite a bit

of driving and between the driving ive watched some fabulous american TV. Like most modern,

mass market automobile car manufacturers Nissan have advertisements on afformentioned

TV. I have several times seen adverts for the Nissan Maxima which is billed as a executive

sports saloon and in my opinion is quite an attractive car. I can definately see echos of the

GTR in the styling which is a stunning car.

This got me thinking. Do Nissan offer a normal 5 door car any more to the UK market?

Ford, BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Honda all make 5 door "saloon" cars like the mondao and 3 series

for example all of which are high sellers. As far as i am aware the Primera is no longer in production,

so i took a look at the Nissan.co.uk website. Supermini's, MPV's, Mini MPV's, 2 seater sports cars,

4x4s, and a few things in between which i cant work out why you would choose one over the

other. But no traditional "rep mobile"

So I come to my point. Please, can we have the maxima? I rather quite like it.

Regards

Looks a bit like the Infinity (Nissan) G35 Sedan (in pic) which (I think) is the four door version of the Infinity G35 or Skyline 350GT as it is in Japan.

Pic Infinity G35 Sedan

Still toying with the idea of selling the ST200 and getting a 350GT.
