Hoppy
Hi Folks I was driving my Supra yesterday and it seemed normal at first, but after about 30 mins of driving it stopped boosting. My first thought was a split vacum or intercooler hose somewhere,so today i removed a few pipes and all the hoses appear to be in good condition. Next i checked the turbo's and both seem in tacked and are sucking air perfectly. But there is still no boost. I'm totally pickled now and would appriciate any help on this matter. Many Thanks Steve

Many Thanks Steve are you saying that there is no boost from either turbo, have you checked all the boost pipes and intercooler pipes, the one inside the wing is the usual suspect possible an actuater but my moneys on a pipe
Hoppy
Hi Gaz,i checked the inner wing hose along with all the other intercooler + boost hoses but can't see any damaged bits.I changed all the hoses back last year and it's been great untill now.cheers
R Black
I recently lost 1st turbo power that under scrutiny it turned out to be due to a actuator, is there one that can make you lose both? Goodluck Posted via Mobile Device
Hoppy
Is there a way of checking the actuator then??? or is it just hit or miss
Scott
I had this, the problem with mine was the actuator under turbo 2. I had to take the heat shield off to get to it though. Mine had stuck. I still don't have turbo 2 back but i'm hoping for something similar.
Benzsupra
I had this on my old Supe and it turned out to be the (forgive the lack of technical terms) big pipe at the front that comes out the front of the engine, opposite side to the turbo's, and down behind the rad. Not sure what it's called or where it goes but i tightened the clip holding it on and got all my boost back. You could hear air wooshing out of the pipe when you rev the engine that's how i discovered it.
Hoppy
Now when i'm driving it i'm sure i can hear some sort of air leaking sound but when it's parked with the engine running i can no longer hear it??
