SILKYSMOOTH
According to my SAT NAV, which I reset before I started my journey this morning to heathrow airport, it has taken a total of 4hours and.43 minutes to get there and back. This journey should only take 50 minutes there and 50 minutes back. Stopped in traffic motionless for 1 hour and 2 minutes with a moving average of 22.4 mph and an overall average of 17.5 mph. Plane was due to take off at 9.30am arrived at airport at 8.55am when we should have arrived at 7.30am and it was very lucky that they allowed my brother on the flight I thought I would take the SAT NAV route for a change and it took me round the bend on the way home. Had to drive through central london which was absolutely disgusting....honestly. I really cannot handle driving in London, especially in the day time.....it's completely mental...traffic is just suicidal! I can't handle it....I get really stressed out. and to top it off you have to pay to go through it. Thats my rant for today...take a few deep breaths now and calm down.... Guest sunnyG83
Why are you complaining if it only took you 4.43 minutes
SILKYSMOOTH
Do you have a TomTom with IQ Routes? No... have a Garmin Nuvi with traffic reports included which is a great help sometimes. It's just that when I got to the M25 this morning around 6.20am someone had lost control of their car and had an accident and there was major disruption with a good several miles tail-back, so I had no choice but to turn back and take the A406 route. tooquicktostop
Do you drive the Supra into work Dean? if so... that would a nce drive into work, Do you get caught in all the A13 traffic? The Supra spends most of its time in a garage !, the A13 is a nightmare most days My little Ford uses £20 per week in fuel, the Supra almost that a day if I use it for work, but to be honest the Single car is no fun in traffic anyway
SILKYSMOOTH
Next time tell him to get the train from Paddington, it takes 15 minutes He was going to get the train, but I thought I would do the honers and take him and his wife early this morning to save the miserable 1.5 hour train journey. We had a few bets on whether or not the sat nav would get there at the expected time, but then that changed several times due to the "re-calculating"
