Branners
You dont say if its auto or 6sp, the 6sp boxes are rattly at the best of times and also have quite a bit of drivetrain noise when being engaged JB

I am now seeing them start to fail and they rattle like hell. Not sure if it can be repaired or if it's a whole new jobbie required, anyone got the EPC handy? Branners
I know before I bought my car Leon has a really severe vibration from the car, couldnt work out where it was or what was causing it. The previous owner had tried new tyres, balancing, alignment, everything. Then I think Leon got the clutch assembly checked and there was a problem, I think it was the flywheel which was then skimmed, or it might have been the thrust bearing (but that could be me failing to remember what it was).
