Ah Carina, obviously neither an expert on weather, supras, having a sense of humour, or brains

Firstly weather; as you were there you might have experianced light on and off showers

Secondly supras; One of toyotas most amazing inventions was the ability to take the roof off, and wait for it..... put it in the boot. wow. genius! no prizes for quessing where my roof was at the time!

Thirdly and fouthly (i'll group these as it might be getting a bit much for you now), having a laugh and brains: as you may have experianced, the weather was on and off with regards to rain all day long, so instead of constantly taking the roof on and off all day and placing it in the boot (which according to you i left at home), i had an idea that was also a bit of a laugh with one of the lads ridiculously large umbrellas; i'd stick it over the roof during the light showers we had that day.

Anyway, have one of these yourself plank

Get a spellchecker.

"Barryboys" What bunch of sub educated Fu£$wits half of them havent a clue what theyre talking about when it comes to modifying real performance cars ie the upper end jap stuff, how could they possibly most of them have cars that are quite easily modded at your local halfords. They wouldnt know the difference from a Motec to a Mongoose. A lot of us spend more on an ecu than they do on their car. As for that plank that states that Matt should of rebuilt a 2JZGTE to handle 450BHP well that just proves my point.

What are your thoughts on the colour comments?

Hi michael

To be honest that quote dosnt bother me as i know it shouts look at me but then if i didnt want the attention i wouldnt drive a supra, also as lamborghini, porsche, tvr, lotus, ahem ford all make bright orange cars, makes owning one myself all the more pleasant.

Plus more people say they like it and that it suits the cars style and shape than dont.

Good day to you sir :D;)

I like the orange Supe! Don't know what the fuss is about to be honest. Some of the other cars are a bit of a mess, but the Supra is clean, the bodykit fits, it's a nice colour, it doesn't have rediculous/unnecessary graphics. What spoiler does it have BTW? Can't quite see it.

I love this bit: -

"a chaved up "barry boy", something i and most supra owners try to get away from "the max power" culture is quite offensive."

paint it orange and give it a silly boot spoiler and what did you expect people to say matt? for me your car sums up the max power culture.

I sense barry boy members in the room :sly:

:D

Second that , Jealous barry boy members without the imagination to understand the world of modding mind you it would prob be ok if it were a spaxo or a vauxhall doza!

Fu%$ em i say if there life is so empty all they have to worry about is what other people do to their cars then i feel for them.

Ill just carry on driving my barry boyed Bright orange bodykitted supra being admired and photographed by nice women admiring the hard work and self made money thats been spent on making something that im proud of.

Which is what i hope all of us fellow supra owners can do.

Come on people, The guys over at BB are pretty much the same as us, and I think you will be VERY suprised as to how much they DO know.

The BB OP doesn't know much then. "Viper Stripes" are actually Shelby stripes from the early sixties Cobra when Carroll put a Ford V8 into a British AC Ace. I know it's petty but if you are going to rip into someone...

I hate that Barry Boys site with a passion. What the f**k is barry about animals car, it is almost stock apart from carbon bonnet, doors, boot and a set of advans how the f**k is making your car lighter 'barry', they don't know what the f**k there talking about and they all (well most) drive euro trash and and just go around pissed off all the time because they can't afford cars like Animals and Matt H's.

*stomps off in a mood to get a 'computer nerd' mate to screw up there site*

I always thought that the "Supras can take 700bhp on standard internals" thing you hear so much is very much dependent on what forced induction you use to get that kind of power. Yes you do hear about them running 700bhp on a pair of small twins or with a big single and a restrictive manifold, but I've heard stories of them bending rods at 500-600bhp on big singles and high-flowing manifolds.

Yeah depends on what kind of forced induction you're using, those ones using superchargers are always bending rods. Best use a restrictive manifold on your 1000BHP Supra's to prevent that.

ah, you tool, the boot spoiler is no bigger or more extravagant than the stock one!!

If manufactorers do something "big" then its o.k, but if the buyer does something its barry is it?!
