Dann Posted September 7, 2008 Share Posted September 7, 2008 That bolt that hold the pully on to the crank, I cannot undo the bugger, How tight is it I have snapped 2 breaker bars and my impact gun wont move it. What have you guys used to get it undone ? Luka-P Posted September 7, 2008 Share Posted September 7, 2008 Hi, This has been covered a fair few times. You're best locking it off with a tool shown in the cambelt change. Get a breaker bar on the bolt with a good socket, make sure its flush and drop a 5 foot bit of scaffold over the top as a sleeve. This should give you enough torque to get it off! Take your bonnet off if it gets in the way. If this doesn't work, weld a socket on and go that way. Have Fun! Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
