Pete
I've been waiting for these all my life! Of course, you could just use less cheese in your sandwich maker.

Ewen
The weapons-grade black ones are great. The CF look goes well with Marmite. BTW, can you die from a mayonaise overdose ?

bromy
The guy who invented these was on Dragons Den the other week, he was a clever guy who seemed a little led by his girlfriend partner who was a knob.
Mike
I need some new ones of these... I think I've worn mine out with post-pub fridge emptying.... I'm hungry already and it's not even 10 o'clock! Thanks Ewan....
tbourner
How do you know what setting to use though? Can you do a steak in it? Does a tin of beans take longer than a cheese toastie?
keron
? Please explain. http://shop.toastabags.com/epages/es109145.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/es109145_shop/Categories/toastabags
Mike
How do you know what setting to use though? Can you do a steak in it? Does a tin of beans take longer than a cheese toastie? That's probably a bit too much like 'proper cooking' for these bad boys... think toasted sandwich and it takes as long as your toaster normally takes. It's quite good to experiment with though. tbourner
I found one on Firebox that said you could cook: Toasted sandwiches, pizza, pasties, baked beans, burgers, fish fingers, bacon, omelettes, oven chips, even salmon fillets - you name it, these miraculous bags will cook it. So, can I do a toasted cheese sandwich in one slice of the toaster, and a tin of beans in the other slice, both on the same timer? Or will the beans be cold or the toast come out as bread or something?
Mike
I will be very interested to hear the outcome of this experiment Trev. Pictures and respective temperatures will help I think.
Rob Dublin
Haven't toaster bags been around for ages? The Ma got them from one of those home shopping catalouge thingys about 10 years ago, distinctly remember arriving home for lunch to find 2 strange bags pre-packed with waffles and beans and an instruction note beside them.
