another smoking thread

I got back into my car after a week of no use, now i have noticed a gadual sign of smoke coming out of the exhaust put it down to condensation but now its alot of smoke.

I had the valve stem seals done about 3k miles ago.

From what i can see the car only smokes on start up a fair ammount then once ive ran it seems fine and doesnt show up any smoke on boost and runs fine.

Ive got no sign of head gasket failure, but when the vss were done they took the head off and replaced the gasket with arp bolts and a standard gasket.

Just wondering what you guys would check first port of call?

If my turbo seals were gone am i more likely to see smoke on boost?

Also ive lost alot of oil now my rear crank seal is leaking but this has only happened the last 1k miles, its not a major leak atm and i wouldnt put the loss of oil down to that.

car is a TT 6 Spd J-spec

the head was skimmed and cleaned up at a machine shop they re-seated the valves they then fitted the steam seals (ferrera) and i got it back fully built with shims.

I just want to no if my turbo seals have gone will it more likely smoke when running? or on start up which is whats happening.
