smoking single

:(right i finally got the supra started for the first time in about 4 month, as some of you know i have been doing a steady single project.

To be fair it still isn't complete but i was at a stage where i could start it.

My problem is that when i started it, it kicked out lots of blue smoke and then carried on smoking but not as bad as the start up, the thing is it didnt do this before i was going single so could it be the fact it hasnt been started in months.

Also the car doesnt run very well, but i put this obviously down to the ecu not beeen mapped yet/no intercooler fitted yet.

any one know what the above could be, any input is appreciated

Difficult to say for sure, it could of had a bit of oil sitting in the cylinders and then when on to draw from worn guide seals,

i am presuming its a new turbo? what make? could be residual oil in that, burning off, otherwise i would say the turbo oil seals.

how would i check the above statements in regards to turbo residue/seals etc:)
