I have a BPU'd TT Supra, import. From the list of available RLCT's below, can anyone tell me which would be the best choice of RLCT unit that's most suitable for my car please.- Is the digital adjuster worth having?

RLTC6AL Adjustable Traction Control (6 Cyl) + Launch Control ABS £595

RLTC6ALW Adjustable Traction Control (6 Cyl) + Launch Control (TCWSSSET required) £595

RLTC6DIA Adjustable Traction Control (6 Cyl) + Launch Control ABS + Digital Adjuster £695

RLTC6DIAW Adjustable Traction Control (6 Cyl) + Launch Control + Digital Adjuster (TCWSSSET required)

Any imput appreciated. Regards - Rob - Likwidart.

If you have ABS as standard on the car, either of these. The digital adjuster allow you to set up the traction control without the use of a laptop (although it's a lot easier with a laptop).

The digital adjuster isn't really worth the extra IMO (I've used both and if buying again I would go for the first option with the standard adjuster).

Have you driven a car with RLTC fitted, my first T78 Single Supra had it and I really did not like the thing at all, to intrusive IMO, it stayed off most of the time

You don't seem to understand how it operates. You have TOTAL control over the traction control. You can turn it off if you want. You can literally set it to allow the percentage of wheel spin down to 1%. It is a great unit, and every high horsepower street Supra should come with it.

Did anybody notice that the new Super car called the Gumpert (spelling?) comes with Racelogic stock!? I know a few other cars do too. Pretty awesome to say that they are an oem level traction control system that is completely user adjustable.

Thanks! I usually hang out on Supraforums, but I thought I would come by and say hi to you guys. I have a pretty good knowledge about US spec Supras, so let me know if you guys have any questions. I have had the racelogic for quite some time. My setup is pretty simple

TT 6spd

BL 67mm Single

HKS Fcon V-pro

Full fuel system etc

Racelogic Traction control

Makes 651whp race gas/ 530whp on pump gas

And of course all the supporting mods. Thanks for the welcome! :D

More than welcome bud. :) We have lost one of our straight talking guys who could relate problems in constructive language that non tech people could understand.

Your presence here will be most refreshing and welcome.

Ian C, our tech guru, who has written a lot of the tech articles and faq's here has more pressing projects and can't be around so much now. :(

I think Ians record stood at 45% of his posts were tech related. Pretty darn good.

I think you're at about 80 % at the moment. :D Course you have a few thousand to go yet. :D

How can I tell if my Supra has ABS? I want to buy this TCU but I first need to know if my car has ABS

My car is a 1994 6 speed manual with Single Turbo

Go in a straight line and mash on the brakes.

(Thanks for the Big Up Andy T - as you can see I'm still red hot with deeply techie explanations :D )
