Mike B
I have a leaky blanked fitting sticking out of my block. It's a 90 degree elbow that leaks under higher oil pressure... anyone know what it was, and is it ok to completely blank off? anyone know what thread it will be so I can get the blanking plug ready?? pics attached, under runner 6 of the ex manifold rear drivers side of the block. georigg
Mike, Not sure if the attachment will help you(or not) however it shows the exploded view of the turbos on the TT. Have a look at Items 10 & 11, Oil pipe No 1 and No 2. My car is an NA, but I am just wondering if the tee shown in your photo might just be an oil line feed to your Turbos???? The attachment is not that clear but No 2 Oil Pipe looks like it terminates under the maniffold in approx the same position as your blanked off tee. Maybe if you can find someone else with a turbo and have alook at their engine in the same position, it will help you to confirm what this tee was/is for. Tricky-Ricky
I would have said it was the std second turbo oil feed, but it looks in the wrong place.
