Wez
Do you know what sort of power its pushing?
Paul Whiffin
Dunno, but with the spec of the engine you could extract a fair old chunk out of it!
Bobbeh
That engine seems like the best choice Japan for track racing. RB26 is a good alternative but the 2JZ can be built and tuned for whatever purpose and for a lot less money. Especially if you're not wanted huge amounts of BHP. Jurgen-Jm-Imports
i saw this and sat in this car in japan last year - its the trial supra matt@afr evil brother lol (the car is rough around the edges but it is purposely built for circuit racing) as paul said with a bit of time and money it can be a very very nice car:). Guest CoolsBlue
That looks awesome!! What is the fascination with those HKS filters over there, almost every car from japan comes in with one of them! LOL thats true, even my supra has one:blink:
Chris Wilson
Here's a pic of the engine bay http://www.whifbitz.co.uk/images/forum pics/3sgtesupra.jpg http://www.whifbitz.co.uk/images/forum pics/3sgtesupra2.jpg So how does the air exit the I/C? The naff air filter is breathing hot air. It's not even got twin master cylinders, looks a bit more show than go as a circuit car.
Paul Whiffin
Its got a vent in the bonnet.
Chris Wilson
Photo? Not sure that's going to work properly, depends where the vent is an how it's angled.

bolarbag
There was a study carried out for the SAE pretty much proving bonnets not to work, it was only the venturi style vents in the bonnet that gave of any benefit

dangerous brain
If you want revvier then why not the 1jz gte lump instead of the RB. Far less fabrication to fit that motor and just as single-able as the 2jz
