carl0s
Anybody done anything like this? I know pfSense will do it, but has anybody actually implemented anything? Did you have the password rolling on a daily basis, or something a bit more clever than that? I am not thinking of something tied in with the till system that automatically generates each paying customer a username & password, although that would be nice I think it's above what I can do. Pete
Use a router with DD-WRT and follow the Tutorials on their site. I'm running a Buffalo AirStation G which comes with it preloaded, works well. You can enable services which will do pretty much what you want, even link into c/card taking systems (they take a percentage) and it allows them so many mins surfing. This definitely looks worth a look. Cheers.
Pete
Awesome, thanks Pete. This definitely looks worth a look. Cheers. No worries. I'm going to use it at the villa, if I can ever get the Greeks to actually move their asses and give me a phone line.
