When I was doing the Forklift Training, it was in the same hangers as the Concorde's, and they were all in for refitting after the Air France Concorde crash, and we were all given a personal tour of the plane and the hanger in which they were being worked on. RobD Posted September 7, 2008 Share Posted September 7, 2008 there are so many great planes there i live about 10 mins away from duxford and a 2 min walk from marshalls airport in cambridge so i go to most of air shows! next one is on the 5th of october! they have the b52 bomber there also, that thing is massive! how they got that in the hanger is amazing i tried getting a decent picture of it but its to big to get the hole of it in ! some of the pics u can see part of the wings in it shouldve took a pic of the side where it has pics of little bombs on it showing how many successful bombing missions its been on! must be easily over 50!
