Dr_Doom
Not sure if everyone was aware but there was a Subaru convoy at the weekend from the McRae home in Lanark to the Prodrive test track in Warwickshire. 1086 cars turned up at the track and spelt out 'Colin McRae' which could be seen by planes going to and from Birmingham airport. One of my mates took part & said it was a great day out. Apparently they set a new world record! And people were wondering why there weren't many Scooby’s at JAE lol! http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/article1631277.ece

tbourner
That's awesome! Just last night I read the section in Lewis Hamiltons book that mentions him meeting Colin and being really upset when he died.

grahamc
Scooby club seems to do a lot of these sorts of BIG events. There was one, some time ago, where a mother contacted the club to try and get her sick child a ride in one. Had some silly number of cars pitch up
johnny g
Yeah, they might get labelled as chavs, but they're decent folk on the whole in the club
