Guest sprx
First of all, hello everyone! this is the best owners club I've come by, learnt quite a bit from it. The reason I'm posting is because I'm thinking about moving to a Supra. I'm ideally looking for a J-spec 6 speed TT, because that's the only one I can get insured on strangely... I know its a MASSIVE step up for me, but I feel I need a car like this before the government puts us all on water powered cars, and fuel is not getting any lower in price. Is it possible to get a J-spec 6 speed TT for around 6k, that shouldn't give me much problems? Because I really only have a job to fund cars, since its the joy of my life lol, but sadly its a bad paying job. Any help or suggestions appreciated. michael
Welcome aboard. You might find a TT6 for £6000 but I'd expect a few bills to crop up and if you are struggling to raise the funds for the car itself you might not enjoy the cost of running one. tooquicktostop
You will get a nice TT6 for 6K IMO, make an offer to sellers and see what happens, there are a few nice cars that are not selling at the moment and a cash offer may be tempting
Mike
if you are struggling to raise the funds for the car itself you might not enjoy the cost of running one. £72 to fill the tank - for about 280 miles on an NA, less on a TT with a heavy foot. Luka-P
£6k should find you a nice example. Sticking around the club may also prove to be a better buy as they tend to be cared for. An auto isnt all that bad either though, Id try one out before ruling it off.

Guest sprx
I'd prefer to buy a car owned by an enthusiast, I have been looking at in the classfields, they are some very nice examples. Yea, I'll definitely have to drive both a manual and auto, I just prefer having control over the gears, and I'm not a big fan for the noise of autos. Nice input, cheers. Guest sprx
Another thing I forgot to mention is I quite fancy a gt4 as well. Although the insurance is a bit more for the GT4, if its a little less to run then that shouldn't be a problem.
