New rims tyre help

Hi Peeps

 

I have just bought a new set of rims for the sup size 19x8.5 FRONT & 19x9.5 REAR

 

Does anyone know what width and profile tyre I should fit to these ?

The size's I use are 235/40 and 265/35 but they are 18's so not sure if you need a lower profile (although don't think it can go much lower!)

I've got those exact size wheels too and my tyres are.

 

245/35 19 and 275/30 19

My 19s were that size and had 235/35/19 fronts and 265/30/19 rears:)

Thanks for the reply peeps, I am not sure about the 30 profile I ve had 35 and that was pretty harsh, still the 30 profile seems alot cheaper :-).

They're cheaper because thats the common profile:) going for 35 on the rears would put out the rolling radius and therefore the speedo I believe. This can be complicated as the prfile and width etc come into play but to keep a reasonably close rolling radius with these width a 30 profile is required:)

Put both size tyres in here and it will show you the difference in diameter, rolling radius etc
