Swampy442
I never expected a football club to be snapped up in the last minute transfer flurry. At least they got rid of that crook Shinawatra. And then straight in with a cheeky little Robinho who only hours earlier had pledged himself to Chelsea And away we go again with more exhorbitant transfer fees and wages. This can only be good news for my team Norwich who can finally get Ched Evans back lol, to partner Sibierski who we got on loan overnight. hogmaw
This whole thing adds more disillusionment to the 'product' that is premiership football
hoff
I was up til 1 this morning watching it on sky sports news. As a Man Utd fan Im delighted and could tell at about 5 that he wouldn't be going to city as he was still do medicals etc with us. But when the news broke about Robiniho I was shocked:blink: Im happy Chelski didn't get him but this will be a big kick up the arse for the big 4. Come January I think we'll see a lot more going on at city. They have a good manager and already have some decant lads there so the potential is massive. Its all about getting the players to join though above utd and chelsea etc but with names like SWP and Robiniho that will help loads:) Still city will always be in Utd's showdow;)
ivan
It'd be nice to see Man City stuff Utd though.

Havard
Shocking!! It's time that teams had spending caps and the game was brought back to some normality. I hardly ever go to live matches as the money versus entertainment is not worth it really. H.
Kopite
Can't believe the news, Robinho showing it's all about the money, £4mil after tax seems to have erased his "head being at Chelsea". Man City to bid £135mil for Ronaldo, then looking at Torres and Fabregas? Who's to stop them? Out crap owners would probably look to sell Torres for a huge fee. And now Keegan sacked by Newcastle? Funny day.

The Raven
Rumour has it it's £75million and a blo*job! In that case they will also hire a nice car to take him there. DIC is needed before this gets out of hand.
RobD
i liked the way fergie playernapped berbatov to stop man city get one up on them! but being a baggies fan , this is just another step towards being a multi billionaires league! we will never be able to compete with that! Could be worse mate, you could have Arsene Wenger as a manager, don't get me wrong he is great at what he does but I wish he'd put his hand in his pocket every now and then. The Board say he can spend big money if he wants so why not strengthen the squad a bit, Chelsea and Utd will be ahead by a bus ride from the rest come the end of the season now. RobD
spoilt the game in my eyes! we've spent alot but mainly all our buys have been defenders and the one thing we do need we let go free to birmingham! i miss phillips liverpools got to hope torres and gerrard can stay fit! cant see man city getting into europe this year though! and think it will be the same top 4 as last year but maybe aston villa or pompey to get into 4th!
