stevie_b
Might be just me, but I don't understand the question at all. Please re-phrase
alaing
The doors on cars are held on with metal pins that act as the backbone of the hinge. Usually they are a removable part to remove the door without taking the front wings off. Just wondering if this is the same on the supra as the hinges are bolted to the door then to the wing. So can i take the pins out to take the doors off or is it to much of a pain and might as well remove the front wing and unbolt the hinge. bolarbag
Short answer yes;) They can be reused too, a little tap from under while someone pulls with a pair of mole grips does the trick Make sure you have someone holding the door when you undo the bolts attached to the door, they are surprisingly pretty heavy, 16kg without any ancillaries, so I suspect about 25kg incl. mirrors e.t.c, Edited September 1, 2008 by bolarbag (see edit history)

bolarbag
Yeah good idea, you may want to spray in that area once their on too, a few little scrapes in that area looks surprisingly sh**e - and annoying

Lukeyboy2k
When you're putting the doors back on make sure you feed the wiring connectors through the holes before locating the door on the hinges - it's really frustrating to think you've got the doors back on and then realising you can't re-connect the wiring. Also be careful when pulling out the restrainers - they're quite tough some times. I slipped and scratched my freshly sprayed paint.
