bigbloodyturbo
from what i can gather the stock Jspec fuel pump runs out of puff once you get up to full bpu, i was told that it wasn't advisable to try running the stock pump up at 1.2bar

Homer
from what i can gather the stock Jspec fuel pump runs out of puff once you get up to full bpu, i was told that it wasn't advisable to try running the stock pump up at 1.2bar The jspec fuel pump if perfectly fine for Bpu It's the age/unknown wear & tear on these that makes swapping it out for a Walbro/UK pump advisable, nothing else. However I for one wouldn't even consider decatting without a new pump and sock filter fitted. It's a ticking timebomb otherwise; if you're already running high boost then it *might* be too late already.
erol_h
i havnt had no problem with the car at all its just that ive seen alot of people change the fuel pumps and im not sure if mine has been changed so i thought i might aswell whilst im getting other bits done. merckx
I wouldn't worry about anything being damaged because it's unlikely.
