green_dragon
Well almost.. http://www.mapamobile.com All you have to do is buy a pay as you go sim card, get an old handset, and subscribe to mapamobile for £30 and hey presto a Tracker. It is the phone which you track not the car, but just hide the phone in the car with a constant trickle charge plugged in to it, and 24hrs a day you can tell where your car is, from your mobile phone via SMS or on 'tinternet. It's only accurate to about 2.5kms so you can't pinpoint it's location, but cars like ours which are USUALLY stolen to order, you can get a good idea of where it has been taken to. It's obviously not as good as a Tracker, but for 30 quid it's better than not having a clue where your baby's been snatched to. SupraStar 3000
yea, great idea Chris. I've always wanted a Tracker. Only way I see you get 100% peace of mind when you cars out of sight. Anyone actually used this or going to try it?
