Chris Wilson
Bought a rebuilt Citroen hydraulic pump from a specialist and sent the old one back for the surcharge to be refunded. They agree the old unit is in good order to rebuild. My statements show this has never happened, despite them saying it went out early last week. Now my current card expires today, and the new one starts as of midnight. Before I have a Barney with them, will having a newly dated card affect refunds? Will BC assist in a none return of a surcharge? It's not a huge amount, but they were eager enough to take the payment, and charge a vast amount for carriage, so I intend to have my surcharge refunded! Thanks. Pete
I'm not sure if you need the expirey date to add funds back to a card?
QSC
Yes you do.
Guest Budz86
Surely they can refund to the account, not the card? And if they can't shouldn't Barclaycard have something in place as this must be quite common?
Chris Wilson
They've found 2 issues, one, they thought I was someone else, who they allegedly HAVE refunded, and two, the card expiry date precluded them refunding until I gave them the new details. I am told money will be transferred today. we'll see, thanks
