Whitesupraboy2
they were slating the game on gtr board. their engine has probably been limited to 900BHP or something if anyone has any problems with the online play, i got a excellant link at home of step by step how to setup and get going. Just got to wait for my game now
Bobbeh
Why were they slating it? I cant wait, I know it'll be cool, GT3 was great, but with the Nurburgring in too its gonna be soo cool Any amount of online play would be cool, but tbh its not the main reason why I'd buy the game. Whitesupraboy2
i like the online play most because i find with the computer i either anihalte them then i get to the stage where they anihalte me. Online play ive been reading up on.....1v1 works on most games no lag. 1v1v1 can work with no lag if you all have good connection to each other and host has good upstream. otherwise can be a bit choppy. i have a wireless lan at home so enough TV's for a good 4 player game. just need to get 4 mates now lol
Kopite
just need to get 4 mates now lol good luck im not too keen on online play, prefer blastin round tracks against the comp - as WSB2 said, you get to a stage where the comp hammers you..... i hate it when that happens and must keep tryin! think the only games i really like playin online are the medal of honour ones, would love to kick arse on pro evo online too though. im gonna be good today and not play on GT4 til tonight, must get work done! Kopite
probably because the GTR's main job is as the pace car!
Marco
I've been playing GT4 at work today. I'm not that impressed tbh! Its difficult to drive, the cars seem very slippery. Great selection of cars and tracks though!

Great selection of cars and tracks though! Hehe, I popped into town to have a go on the machine they have set up in the games shop, I did a lap of the Ring in arcade mode I think. It seemed good fun, crappy playing it on the controller, need to use a wheel for sure. It'll rock. I know what you mean about the slippy cars though, the Supra I chose didnt seem to grip all that well, but I'll have it sorted
Muffleman
I'm, er, working from home this arvo (ahem). Must admit, the licence bit gets right on my tits, as it did in GT 1, 2 and 3 ! Anyhoo, just won the Sunday cup with ease - but then again you would in a BPU Supra Must go
Kopite
could of been worse, could of been in the crazy taxi game ooh wait until neil sees that! i got half way through the B license test before i started yawnin, will have a bash for a few mins later. license tests are really annoyin, deleted my GT3 data ages ago. it will be a much better game with a wheel, im finding the car (only been in the supra on a track so far) is just understeering all over the place. Cars in the license test were doin the same
shaf
i wasnt impressed with the sound the scoobys made. i thought they were going to make the cars actually sound more realistic! other than that, seems an awesome game so far... only acquired 2 licences so far a and b

shaf
are the GT3 data files compatible with GT4???? you can only take 100000 credit but cant take any of the licenses over unless you played gt4 prologue

SupraStar 3000
just played GT4 and I have mixed thoughts. Tracks - are great Cars - are fantastic Gameplay - is ok (should get better with time) Sound - is very poor Graphics - dull. Looked much better in Prologue (thought it was the same graphics engine) Maybe its my widescreen TV and the settings but the colour and detail just didn't look as good as Prologue. well.... back off to test it again
Soop Dogg
There are settings for display stuff within the game apparently. Must have a look myself. Might brighten it up and make things a bit more vibrant for you. Talking of vibrant, what about the effect it gives when you crash into the armco!! Coooooool!! SupraStar 3000
sorry, but i wouldn't know anything about a crash effect as I havn't crashed yet! LMAO,,... yea right!! Actually, that is a cool effect. The problem I have is the colours are to bright and I don't think I have any sun hazy, sun spots or any environment effects.
