supratoy Posted August 28, 2008 Share Posted August 28, 2008 I have a non stock flywheel and clutch so it rattles on idle but suddenly after fitting the stock fan and shroud(radiator is to phat:rolleyes: still sorting it out properly) Anyways there is a rattle thats coming through the car only at over 5000rpm in 1st to 3rd not tried the higher gears because of the fan and shroud, could this be the clutch release bearing? cheers Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Have the same rattle when revving engine over 5k (not recommended), and when valve is coming back you will hear this sound. Nothing to worry about, apparently it's normal Its when am moving though not just free revving, its as soon as your around 5000rpm on boost and you feel and hear the rattle.
