Guest DarrenLee
Ok With the deposit down on a NON TURBO and being very new to the Supra scene what do I do first (and no buy a TURBO jokes). I am not new to modification and with past cars I have usually went down the induction system, exhaust, remap route but what have others done with their NON TURBO modification? Thanks
vvteye
First, drive it around with a big grin on your face for a couple of hundred miles. Next, get to a Supra meet and check out others for ideas. Then.... buy a Turbo
Homer
All IMO: Forget about performance mods, there's no point. Air filter makes no difference, open exhuast *might* gain a couple of HP. You can't remap the stock ECU. First off get it fully serviced - all fluids (box, diff, brake, etc) Get the geo sorted out by a specialist Then if you have any money left you can look towards uprating the brakes (UK spec is very cost effective and will be more than enough). Next maybe

Homer
What do you mean by the GEO and exactly what does this do/cost? Geo - Suspension geometry It's one key area that nearly every owner on here forgets about, but those that have invested for a proper setup swear by it as one of the best mods you can do. It can completely transform the car especially if it has any aftermarket springs or wheels. Recent examples: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=159776 http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=157231 You'd be looking between £180 and £500 depending on how well you want it done.
