Scott
Mark....My prelude is a jap import 2.2 vtec si auto 1992, and I can respectfully tell you that it is def a rear wheel drive....it's the third one I've owned and although I know nowt about Supra's, I've learned a little about Preludes over the years......anyway, was looking for a na TT.....but from what I've read so far it looks as if the TT is the one to go for.....just don't wanna kill meself as I do like a little spin on the weekends !!.....might be better off with non turbo to start with !! Cheers, Tim ;0) Get your mate to drive your car and try to wheelspin. If you stand outside take note of the wheels that are spinning. If you can post a video of your car spinning the rear wheels, with a hovis as proof, then you can make the guys here eat their words. However, Honda did not make your prelude that way, if its rear wheel drive its been converted. Also, are you on the correct forum? You keep referring to an N/A TT, either you missunderstand the meaning of "N/A" and "TT" or you are looking for the Audi TT forums. Supra-Brett
Never driven prelude but i dont think there will be much in it with an N/A supe the web site below show stats of a 1996 prelude http://www.vagweb.co.uk/forums/stats.php?car=honda%20prelude%202.1 The ones below show all preludes http://www.albeedigital.com/supercoupe/articles/0-60_Quarter_Mile_Times/G_H_I_0-60times.html This link shows the N/A and TT supe times (N/A listed as 6.9secs and 15.2 quarter). As you can see, the TT is much faster and the N/A is listed as marginally faster than the prelude. Having said that, prelude doesnt look a patch on the supe. Aero-M
Prelude is RWD...Accelerates well....scared an M3 recently, beat me for speed....but gave him something to think about ! I've looked at 300ZX's but they're big...200SX ok but not keen on shape....Skyline, love the back end...hate the front....Prelude VTI'S look like a vauxhall chevette at the front !!!....Supra, beautiful all round ( just like my 1992 prelude ;0) ).....it's just a question of researching the different types and getting a good deal....! Accelerates well....scared an M3 recently, beat me for speed....but gave him something to think about ! what m3 model, you wouldn't have stood a chance. n/a supes are quicker than the prelude and they wouldn't scare a m3
