_Shane_
hitting roughly 0.65 - 0.70 bar in first gear, the rest of the gears will hit 1.3bar easily Am i missing something here ???? is this right or should the car be hitting the same boost in all gears ? using a blitz boost controller too by the way cheers shane
Nic
Boost will increase in higher gears as the engine is under more load. Some of the more expensive boost controllers (Blitz icolor, HKS EVC VI) can map the boost settings against speed, so you can maximise boost through each gear. Jake
As Nic says, it's load (resistance) dependant. How much pressure (boost) could you make in your gob when blowing out though a straw? Loads, right? Now, how much pressure could you make when blowing though a bog roll tube? example>
