Chingy
The reason its so close is because he is running a T51 v-band manifold with a T4 adapter so the T04-Z fits;) should of kept the T51
Chingy
Col do you have a photo to show how the turbo sits? How wide is the V-band/T4 adapter? Is it an HKS adapter? It may be possible to fit a narrower one so there is more clearance. I've just been outside to test mine, I have the factory fitted OEM engine mounts and get around 5mm movement at the turbo at high rpms, the TRD mounts should minimise this a bit. Other option would be to cut the V-band flange off the manifold and get a T4 flange welded on, although this could create a weak point on the manifold. Some great advice thank u mate, will have a measure up on the adapter didn't even think about that, couple of pics I had on't know if they help, will have to have a better look
Nic
Another thought, is not possible to rotate the adapter where it connects to the V-band flange on the manifold to give a bit of extra clearance? Looking at the overhead shot if you rotated the adapter anti-clockwise a little on the manifold, it should give you more clearance.

That would definately make sense:thumbs:, will have a look at that tomoro, only needs a little more clearance
Nic
If you do need a damper I can get these ones, they are better quality compared to the US one, but are still quite solid. It would need brackets fabricating though as there isn't a kit for the Supra. http://www.hpi.co.jp/products/engine/md/picsmaxeng1.jpg
