Guigsy Posted August 26, 2008 Share Posted August 26, 2008 ...Of the pond. As you may or may not know im spending 3 months in the USA (Orlando to be exact). So no meets for me for the next few months. My car is safely locked away in a secerate location... However i thaught some of you guys might like to check out some of the pictures ive taken so far. American muscle is everywhere as you would expect. My girlfriends father (a stuntman who drove the evo in fast and furious 2) has a lovely throaty V8 F150 pickup, and next door is an old 67 firebird. http://www.musclecarclub.com/musclecars/pontiac-firebird/images/pontiac-firebird-1967b.jpg The first week i got here i payed a vist to a local attraction called "Old Town" Its basicly an old street with small shops on each side. On friday and saturday nights they have a cruze and they let cars park down the street and along the sides. unfortunately when i got there on saturday (the classic car night) most of the cars were leaving. Ill be going back again another time to get more pictures and to check the modified one on a friday. st3ven1 Posted August 26, 2008 Share Posted August 26, 2008 I went to the 10th anniversary of the Old Town cruise earlier in the year, stood for well over an hour as the cars went past. Some amazing cars, superb paint jobs and cars so loud they shook the ground as they went past. Didn't know about the Clearwater cruise, will have to check it out next time I'm over. Hired this for the trip. Its also haunted. There is a program we are both addicited to called T.A.P.S. They go into haunted places and try to find/disprove them. None of this "omg your haunted get a psychic and a priest" bollocks, they use cameras, thermal imaging stuff etc... I think he also did miami vice a few times.
