michael
IKEA here too - Galant corner desk with a couple of extra straight pieces either side and the "T leg" options - very sturdy and you can order all kinds of extra bits. Not all that pretty to look at though. http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/categories/departments/workspaces/11717/

Rob
I've got a 740mm desk which I find a bit high. What height desk does everyone else have? Ah, I'm 6' 3", maybe that explains why when I draw up washrooms and toilets, people complain that the mirrors are too high. Building Regs Doc M (for disableds) says a desk should be no more than 760mm high, and no less than 700mm to the underside.
Pot
Resurrecting an old thread, but some good info I think (And some bragging ) I've had a 'Galant' desk delivered here today (Not the corner version like Michael has, but in the same series), you can have it with adjustable legs, up to 90cm (If I've read it right), anyhow, I'm 6'4" and I've got it on 2/3 of its height as it was way too high (Just measured it, I'm on 77cm)... It also comes in a nice black/brown finish, and is very big, it's big enough for my 2x19" and 24" Monitors, with plenty of room to move... Need to sort out a quality stand for my monitors, but I'll attach a pic so you can see
