For instance, setting super high sharpness and contrasts I believe lowers the life expectancy of the tv. I might be wrong but thats what i gathered. As well as all those configurations mentioned above there`s also "Shop" settings. These are used by the like of Currys etc and have boosted levels to impress the gullible public into buying. Things like flourescent lighting, store environment etc taken into consideration.
